Crafty You?

I have always loved crafty unique presents. I've given them before. Especially since I didn't have children of my own to be crafty for. Now that I have Camila {and Santi}, I feel more desire to be crafty and unique in the gifts we give.

This weekend I went to a Baby Shower for a really sweet friend, Stanessa R. Her little lady bug is due in August. I made her a diaper cake, a couple of headbands and a onesie. All with the same theme. I think they turned out pretty good.

Stanessa had really cute decorations. Very whimsical and bright, perfect for the Summer. I loved it. My faithful baby shower companion was at times asleep and at times awake, she's in the pictures as well. {CamBamLove}

It's amazing what  little patience will get you... 

I never thought I'd be making headbands much less something that looks like this! 

I am very proud of my gain so far on this Crafty Momma journey...now if I could just get my pictures to look as amazing as Casey's! Ha.

{Glue Gun Skeptic}

I have never really been a fan of the hot glue gun..I never really trusted it. 

In the last 4 months though, the glue gun and I have created a bond. {No pun intended..or maybe} Therefore, it's not only now become my trusty sidekick but my mode of inspiration! 

I have recently become addicted to headbands...yes...headbands, it's probably because I now have a beautiful daughter who I LOVE to dress up and yes, put headbands on. Well, I have been researching and studying You Tube Tutorial videos and looking at other headband designs and I think I am now at a place where I am creating and making them my own...and hopefully perfecting them! 

My next venture is sewing! 

I haven't quite got the knitting down, my patience runs low but when I get back on track I will go back to it. 

In the mean time, I am creating fabric flowers and headband designs with my hot glue gun! {It's literally smokin'}

Headbands Anyone?!

It's SUMMER TIME! 

I love this new project that I just took on! I am making headbands with fabric flowers!!! I found some great tutorials and am just now learning and attempting to perfect the techniques! Please keep in mind these are all from my SUPPPERRR beginners session which I started this weekend!

I have some others in mind and will be working on them! 

I want to make some for Camila!

I LOVE creating! It helps me be me. It allows me to be creative and use my little brain! And it helps me express myself! It's also great for stress! 

I loved the bright colors {not to mention, this was the only material I have available until I can make it down to the craft store!}!!! 

I hope you join me this Summer...I will be making and creating MANNNYYY more things! I have so many great projects in mind! 

If you see anything you like I can either sell it to you {hehehe} or tell you how to make it. I am not an expert by anyyyy means but I love You Tube and it's my Best Friend when it comes to my crafts! 

Shades of Blue.

In an afternoon of inspiration and creativity, BLUE was born. 

I just loved the color.

Although my little Princess is about a year from fitting into one of these, I still love to make them. 

I don't think I have quite yet perfected Tutu's, but will work on it until I do. 

I am also attempting to make better fabric flowers and hair bows, I want to make cute hair pieces for Camila.

Creating to Inspire.

Very seldom do I feel like I inspire. But, I am constantly being inspired by others and their stories...their trials and their victories. 

I was asked to create a bracelet that would hold a special meaning to the recipients.  A sister was lost to Breast Cancer and as a pact of sisterhood a bracelet was created. 

I was happy to create something so meaningful for 3 young women. 

I hope they like them as much I liked making them.
